BIG SHOCK! Dakar adrenaline

The energy drink brand “BIG SHOCK!” has prepared a competition for its customers to win a ride in a racing special that took part in this year´s Dakar Rally. A two-palette display with a cardboard racing truck special attracts to this competition.

The Dakar Rally is one of the most challenging races in the world, where crews reach the bottom of their strength. BIG SHOCK! Racing Team, whose long-term partner is the energy drink brand, reaches traditionally good results in the Dakar Rally. At the beginning of the year, BIG SHOCK! prepared a possibility for 10 winners to experience the Dakar ride on their own with the driver, Martin Macík junior, within the sales promotion. In addition to other marketing support of this action, the brand has prepared an original palette display with us for Globus, Albert and Terno supermarkets.

Its central element is a truck special which climbs onto a desert rock. We have made the whole racing special model from cardboard as most realistic as possible. The cabin is equipped with seats; windows are made of a clear foil. We believe that in the store environment, this application is not overlookable, and it is remarkable experience for shoppers to see it, which will be beneficial for the sales promotion as well as for the value of the BIG SHOCK! brand.

“We have great replies from our customers; their participation in the competition was high. We also have information from stores about the necessity to replenish goods to the display more often compared to our common palette applications. We assess the whole activity very positively,” says Davis Tlach, the Trade & Category Manager of the company Al-Namura, the manufacturer and distributor of the BIG SHOCK! brand.
