Canon shop-in-shop in Ljubljana

The Canon camera manufacturer sells its products in the Czech Republic as well as in more than two hundred other countries. It operates also in Slovenia looking for a way how to introduce its portfolio of printers and cameras to the public. Therefore, it has implemented a design promo-stall to support the displayed goods directly at the point of sale.

The shop-in-shop we made for Canon shows buyers the selected printer and photo products. This raises brand awareness among visitors, which was also one of the main goals.

The target group, Canon is aiming at by selecting products to be displayed, represents a wide audience. It consists mainly of young people 14 to 20 years old. It also includes families with children. We then designed the appearance of the promo-stall according to our targeting. “We divided it into three main parts. On the right, there is a rounded table covered with pictures of young people taking pictures. This part should primarily attract the younger generation. On the other hand, the simplicity of the display on the left is aimed at families,” explains Jan Slabý, our Project Manager.

The rear part of the shop-in-shop should also entertain the visitors. First, they can borrow one of the displayed cameras and take various pictures and then print them using the printers prepared on the back panel. The customer can attach the printed image to the wall. Together, this creates a mosaic, anyone can enlarge with his / her pictures,” adds Jan Slabý.

We used several different materials during the production, as laminate, metal or plastic elements. The visibility of the exposure is being highlighted by the LED lighting in the foreground, which is built-in under the tops of both tables. Along with the displayed goods, the display was delivered and placed with a security system, which must not be missing in similar realizations.

So far, the shop-in-shop has been created in just one version. Now, Slovenian customers will find it in one of the showrooms in Ljubljana, where it will stay permanently.
