DAGO HAS CREATED A UNIQUE SHOP-IN-SHOP DISPLAY FOR PURINA

Sales of pet supplies in permanent stores and e-shops are still growing. Czechs, famous as pet breeders, are thus becoming leaders in the pet food segment. One of the most important criteria when choosing pet food is definitely its quality.

High-quality pet food deserves the same quality presentation, only then it will become easy to remember for customers and it will differentiate from the competition. „Nestlé s.r.o. in cooperation with permanent store and e-shop Mall.cz approached us some time ago with a demand to develop a unique shop-in-shop design for the Purina brand, which will be built into the wall in their Brno store,” explains Lucie Michajlov, Project Manager of Dago.

Unlike standard shop-in-shops (SIS), which are usually placed freely on the sales area, this SIS was formed as a separate module built into a pre-prepared opening.

SIS is made of solid wood and laminate and it is optically divided into two halves – the first part focused on products for dogs and the second half of the module designed for cats. The graphics are tuned in the same spirit, including supporting 3D elements. In the section for dogs, there is a kennel, which works not only as a decoration but also as a sales space. The cat part is then dominated by a cat scraper used as an exhibition shelf for small goods.

The perception of the division into a dog and a cat part is underlined by the silhouettes of a dog and a cat, which dominate the entire sales rack. “I really like work of Dago. The presentation fits perfectly into our concept and is one of the most visually interesting. I also really appreciate the thematically divided sections for dogs and cats,” says Jiří Staněk, Store Design Manager of Mall.cz.

The potential of POS display in the pet food category is really strong, because it is not subject to seasonality, so it has a long-term character. It is known that retail presentations going hand in hand with current trends will increase sales by up to several percent.
