Gold at POPAI Awards Paris with Kofola

In the category ”Drinks” of the prestigious European competition POPAI Awards Paris, we won a gold medal together with our client Kofola for the realization of a pallet island for the Rajec brand. Our other three projects were awarded bronze.
The most awarded project in the category ”Drinks”, the realization for the Rajec brand and its baby water, has interested the jury thanks to its unconventional concept and processing designed to free customers from a store environment and put them into a positive nostalgia of the child´s world. Thanks to that a water purchase was associated with emotions and a pleasant experience: ”Today, almost every company uses the in-store communication, the retail environment is oversaturated. The pallet island brought us not only the sales increase during the action exposition, but we received a positive response also from managers of stores. In most cases, they wanted to extend the exposition after the end of the action. Thanks to that, we found out that this P.O.S. worked superbly even without an action price,“ says Jana Riegerová from Kofola about the success of the winning realization.
We perceive our participation at foreign competitions as a chance to find out how our work is compared to the world, whether we manage to follow trends. We greatly appreciate when we win an award and we are grateful to our clients for getting opportunities to do so on a regular basis thanks to them. Also Jana Riegerová from Kofola, who also participated at the ceremonial announcement in Paris, thinks that just the opportunity to compare with foreign countries is a benefit: ”Compared to foreign countries, the Czech and Slovakian market is very strong in creation and application of P.O.P. activities. Perhaps it is also the reason why our pallet island interested the jury and maybe even thanks to that, it will also inspire other European countries. At the competition, we found out that the general material trend of the recent times is cardboard; it is great to charm and originally communicate various stories. The goal is to diversify from competitors and attract customers as much as possible, not just visually, as the P.O.P. communication is inspiring customers to immediate purchase decision-making process.“
Also our three other projects brought awards from France. The realizations of LG Electronics in the category ”Architecture of Commercial Interiors“, Oral-B of the company Procter & Gamble in the category ”Digital – Material & Content“ and the pallet island Captain Morgan of the company STOCK Plzeň-Božkov in the category ”Events – Mass Market“ won the Bronze Indian. Totally 250 projects from all over the world participated at this year´s 54th competition POPAI Awards Paris.
