Albert guides customers through the world of wines

Wine ranks among the most popular alcoholic beverages of Czechs. In the Albert stores, they are therefore expanding the assortment of the private brand Sommelier collection and presenting it to customers in a new display.

Metaxa is developing the brand in retail

The brand of Greek Metaxa distillates came up with a display in Globus stores. In addition to sales promotion, it focuses on building the brand. This year, there is a good opportunity for it, as Metaxa is just going through its visual identity change. We have prepared a display with a special shining 70m LED system that attracts attention of customers from afar.
The display for Metaxa of the Romy Cointreau brand is characterized by an emphasis on blue and white lighting. “Metaxa shifts from yellow to blue-and-white colour combination. The display was a great opportunity to contribute with this change to the image-building also thanks to the direct contact with customers as one of the important touchpoints with the brand,” says Lenka Adámková, the Brand Manager of Metaxa in Rémy Cointreau. The inspiration how to approach to the category was the 3D Jägermeister deer origami, belonging also to Rémy Cointreau, which won several Czech POPAI Awards last year including the first prize; and last week it was nominated for a winner of the strong category of beverages at the European POPAI Awards in Paris.

The display offers 3 variants of the product to shoppers. “We work more to provide premium characteristics and unify the portfolio. The most common is the 5-star variant, but we also give a space for discovering 7-star and 12-star variants, which could surprise customers a lot,” explains Lenka Adámková.

Metaxa is a synonym for sun and Greece. So the specifications of this project placed emphasis on working with light. We succeeded to interconnect the tradition with design also thanks to the 70-meter LED lighting. Together with the ground tint on Perspex making 3D effect and lacquered elements, there was used also a printed carpet instead of the ordinary floor stickers. That is how we highlighted the premium impression the client required and harmonizing with the brand.

In addition to the 2-palette display, there has been created also a 1-palette display to be able to satisfy all Globus stores. The 1-palette display has been designed also for the Metro store in Bratislava.
