On Thursday, November 25th, the results of the POPAI Awards competition were announced, in which the best in-store communication projects at the point of sale on the domestic and foreign markets are being awarded. This year, we succeeded again and won a total of six awards.

Our five nominations turned into one gold, two silver and two bronze medals at POPAI Awards Paris
On Thursday, we succeeded to transmute all of our nominations and won the first place with our Lego Duplo display, the second and the third place in the “Beverages” category with Jaegermeister and Birell realisations and the second place with a play table for Globus customers to test Oral-B electric toothbrushes. A Whiskas end cap won the third place.
The Lego Duplo Locomotive display is based on one of the boxes of bricks. Transparent boxes with built-up construction kits show children and their parents what they can build from the bricks. We won the gold medal in the “Leisure time” category.
Two of our realisations in the “Beverages” category won the silver and the bronze medal. The pallet display with a Deer origami statue for Jaegermeister won the second place and the Birell end cap won the third place. The Oral-B play table, offering to test electric toothbrushes, won the second place in the “Health, hygiene and cosmetics” category. The third place in the category of permanent displays of the “Food” category belongs to the Whiskas end cap which attracts cat-pets owners to playful presentation with a haptic stimulation using a real rope.
This has been another success from Paris for us, where we were the only company representing the Czech market. We took home five awards compared to the previous two years with three and four awards. It is a great satisfaction for us again. It is a great challenge to achieve within the competition of the growing number of participants when the standard of the branch and registered works significantly increases. And we appreciate not only that we succeed as the only Czech company in this competition.
The third year and one more award again
At the 55th POPAI Awards Paris, 334 projects in 46 categories in the POS, digital and merchandising sphere participated compared to the last year with 250 realisations. In the year 2016, we succeeded with three projects: the gold medal for the super-premium dog food Carnilove display, the silver medal for the interactive JOJO candies end cap and the bronze medal for the Captain Morgan boat as a mobile wooden bar. In the year 2017, we won the first medal for infant water Rajec display, the bronze medal for the LG shop-in-shop in Alza, another bronze medal also for the Oral_B display with an above-life size electric toothbrush model and another bronze medal for the pallet Captain Morgan display.
