POPAI Awards – most awards for DAGO

Among all entered contestants, our company won most awards in this year´s international competition of best communication and advertising means at points of sales POPAI AWARDS. At gala evening we took over six awards, where half of them were for a unique “beer vending machine” for the Pardál beer brand.

We left the ceremonial announcement of the results with six statuettes, four for the first places in particular categories, one highest award for creativity and one for the best material and technological innovation. The most successful media was the “beer vending machine” application for Budějovický Budvar, which was supposed to support sales of Pardál brand. „The distinctive feature of the “beer vending machine” is the top lever customers had to pull to get a tin of Pardál beer, which builds on the successful culinary  TV advertisings of Pardál School,”  the Commercial Director of our company Marek Končitík described closer the winning application.

The beer-machine originality won, with members of the jury, in categories of imports, prototypes and samples as well as the best material and technological innovation.  Moreover, it also won the award for creativity thanks to which it achieved “golden hat-trick”.

Members of jury were attracted also by three other POP media from our workshop.

We also won in the category of digital communication – implementation in places of contact with customers, to whom we prepared a mobile studio Samsung Galaxy S in aisles of shopping centres of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Members of jury have awarded a victory in other categories also for two of our presentation modules. Promo table for Canon cameras won in the category of promo display stands and LEGO play area for children won in the category of promo points.

„We sincerely appreciate so many awards.  For us it is a signal that we have set out on the right way with our philosophy emphasizing that applications should look good but also they should be capable to improve the selling efficiency of promoted products,“ the Executive Director, Martin Vorel, commented the success of our company.
