The Jägermeister display as the absolute winner at POPAI Awards 2019
We already know winners of this year’s POPAI Awards, which awards the best in-store communication projects. Altogether we won 13 awards. The Jägermeister display with a hologram became the absolute winner.
This year, traditional P.O.P. projects competed in 20 categories. With our 18 registered realisations, we succeeded to win with 13 realisations, which has been historically the most significant result. We are pleased that we could work with our clients on these projects and bring innovative communication solutions to the Czech in-store marketing environment.
The pallet island for Jägermeister with an original hologram, which apparently has not appeared yet in the Czech in-store communication, gained the highest number of points and thus the title of the “absolute winner”. Thanks to this it can impress with an experience referring to the virtual reality. In addition, it will attract customers with its backlit deer motifs as the central motif of the brand. The same display also won awards for the best material and technological innovation, for creativity and also became the winner of the light communication category.
Another award-winning project was also the shop-in-shop that highlighted the “Grilling with Coca-Cola” campaign. It was awarded the title of an outstanding realization. It combines three main elements – a gas grill, table with a plate and cutlery and a compartment with stacked wooden logs. Its design with classic summer elements as a light chain, grass and chopped wood evokes relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for customers.
Also a permanent display promoting the Black Fox herbal liqueur was awarded the same title. It attracts attention with its mysterious atmosphere of the dark forest, where customers are being observed by green fox eyes. The display is dominated by a topper made of opal screen-printed Plexiglas. This whole area is backlit by LEDs.
In the alcoholic beverage category, we have achieved success with our distinctive cardboard bar for the Irish whiskey Tullamore Dew. The jurors were attracted by an eye-catching design of the presented beverage in warm colours as well as real lighting and a suitably embedded bell.
Among our other award-winning displays there are the Pampers baby cradle, the end cap for Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee capsules and the premium minimalistic end cap for IQOS electronic cigarettes. In the category of integrated in-store campaigns, the set of displays promoting Semtex energy drinks attracted attention. Below you can see the list of all of our realizations and their awards.
The POPAI Central Europe Awards competition is being organized by the Central European office of POPAI CE. On a long-term basis, it supports the sphere of the point-of-sale marketing and new trends showing the in-store advertisement as an effective communication tool towards customers.
